Intro: In the novel TPF three young Sudanese boys go through extremely acidulous conditions in thresh to survive the Sudan civil war. The key areas were Benson needed to adapt to the conditions is that when he is young he is defeated well, naïve, dependent and in order to mature and achieve his goal to survive and pull in his freedom he had to become determined, educated and independent to do that.
